Mind's Eye
Sitting in a dark room, outside in the
light,
there's no chance to escape, yet you run in
fright.
Black walls that hold you are emotions
lost,
blocking you from your inner self at such a high
cost.
Sitting alone you stare out into
space,
Your mind begins to travel while your body stays in
place.
Seeing your friends of present and
past,
lining them up as players in a
cast.
Leaving that behind you explore new
ground,
where enemies and unfriendly people are standing
around.
